Established in 1932 by Don Eugenio H. Lopez, Sr., Iloilo-Negros Air Express Company (I N A E C ) was the first Filipino-owned private airline in the Philippines. Although its fleet was completely destroyed in World War II, I N A E C quickly rebuilt after the war to become Far East Asia Transport, Inc. I N A E C was revived in 1993 to serve the needs of the Lopez Group of Companies. It expanded its clientele in 2001 in response to the corporate sector’s heightened demand for domestic and international transport services.
