Under its Air Operator Certificate (AOC), INAEC is authorized by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) to perform commercial air operations in accordance with its Operations Manual and the Philippine Civil Aviation Regulations (PCAR). INAEC is likewise a holder of an Approved Maintenance Organization Certificate issued by the CAAP, by virtue of which INAEC is authorized to perform line and base maintenance and inspection of several aircraft, such as the Beechcraft SKA 350 B-3000 series, Airbus Helicopter EC-135 series, AS 355 series, Bell 206 series, Agusta Westland AW139 series, and Bell 429 series, and engines, and to perform line and base maintenance, removal, and replacement of engine parts.

The Operations Specifications (Ops Specs) of INAEC, as approved by the CAAP,  provide the class of operations INAEC is permitted to undertake and the aircraft that may be used in those operations, subject to the conditions in the Operations Manual.

INAEC utilizes the Philippine Civil Aviation Regulations (PCAR) for the development and publication of its Operations Manuals and other manuals, policies, and procedures to achieve uniformity and consistency of documentation across all business lines.
